We were invited to take part in the anniversary ceremony and celebration of a local hospital that offers free care to the underprivileged. Andy, Marie, and their children sang and performed, much to the delight of the audience, which included both patients and hospital staff. Our clown show had the audience rocking with laughter, and ended with a special magic trick by Peter, which he tied in with a message about how Jesus can solve our problems. Other Family International volunteers passed out poster tracts to all.
We then visited patients in their rooms, singing and praying for them. We also gave copies of the Chinese edition of Fear Not, a Family-produced CD of inspiring and faith-building Bible verses put to song, to the patients for their comfort and encouragement.
